WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT ADVANTAGE BASKETBALL

Advantage was that family that kept me not only focused on basketball but also on my academics, which was beneficial to my college adjustment”
Eugene Omoruyi
University of Oregon
“Playing for Advantage has definitely been the highlight of my prep career! My coaches constantly challenged me to be the best player I could be which helped prepare me for basketball at the next level. But what I find most memorable is how much Advantage Basketball felt like family. I was fortunate enough to play on some good teams with some great platers, but I am most proud of the fact that I will always be a part of the Advantage family.”
Adrianna Allen
Monmouth University
“When I first joined Advantage, everyone welcomed me with opened arms… There are people within the organization that I will forever consider family. My biggest takeaway from being an Advantage Titan is the importance of paying it forward/ acts of service. Advantage takes pride in being active in the community & helping others of all ages. I’m very grateful for the opportunities that Advantage has given me both on and off of the court.
Aliyah Lawson

“From the time I joined the team, to now (almost 10 years later) Advantage has been my extended family. Not only are coaches committed to your development on the court, they also stress the importance of being a good human being”
Lauren Griffith

“There is no secret to success…Advantage has taught me to play hard, play smart and play unselfish, these were the 3 ingredients to my success on the court. Advantage took my game from mediocre to being one of the best in my class. I will always be thankful for Advantage; the family atmosphere is unmatched.”
Shanice Mckoy

Taylor Johnston

“Advantage basketball is a great place to learn the basics of basketball by some of the best coaches in the GTA. Advantage has a great reputation in North America. Coaches come down to evaluate the programs talent at a early stage. The program will put you in a great opportunity to pursue your personal goals as a basketball player. I highly recommend A.B.C.”
Juevol Myles

“Playing with Advantage before heading to the NCAA prepared me in the best way possible. The organization is about competition, getting better and winning. The coaches believed in me from day one and pushed me to consistently play at a high level. It was their guidance that lead me to my scholarship. This organization is all about family, on and off the court. After I graduated I came back to them to coach, and its like I never left.

“Playing advantage taught me the importance of winning every battle. It allowed me to view every game as war, and an opportunity to show up and give it everything I had. You must beat the player in front of you, and as a team if you can all do that, good things happen”
Mary Besselink
Queens University
“As a player who has gone through the Advantage Titans program, I can say that, it helped refine my skills so that I could be prepared for my guard spot in college. Up until that point I was used at various positions because of my IQ and size throughout high school but the coaches at Advantage knew what it took to get me to the next level needed to succeed in college. More than just skill development I had people who believed in my ability and my dreams, but also took the time to cater to me as a person off the court. At the end of my time with Advantage I understood what it took to sacrifice myself for a greater good, work with teammates and the sacrifice it took to chase a dream. I found a family and made relationships that will last a lifetime.

“My two children are a part of the Advantage Titan basketball club. Our experience with the club has been tremendous. The club provides a nurturing; engaging and motivating program. The coaches are caring, understanding, supportive and respectful towards the children. They build children confidence, work one-on-one to develop their skill, to their fullest potential, and scaffold them to the next level. They go beyond the call of duty, being supportive towards families. If you’re looking for a basketball club to join, Advantage Titan is a great environment for any child; whether to have fun or play competitively with other clubs in the GTA. I would personally recommend Advantage Titan to anyone.”

Ajax Advantage is an outstanding club here in the Durham Region. Both my children have played for Coach Chris and his managers/coaches. My daughter Dakota Whyte had the opportunity to receive a full basketball scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated on the Dean’s List and received her Bachelor of Science. As for my son, he now attends West Virginia Wesleyan College. Playing in a club like this sets athlete up for the future in all areas – from their SAT to speaking with universities and colleges during the scouting period. My family’s time with this organization was incredible, and Coach Christa and Dakota still have an amazing friendship to this day. Thank you Coach Chris and Team.
